Made It!

Hey everybody!

I have made it to Santa Cruz safely and we have been working hard to restore the luxurious Peter Pan. ;) The motel beds have been removed, bunk beds have been made, tons & tons of shelves are now in place and the carpets have been steam cleaned. There are five of us female students here to help set up. Bev washed about 300 dishes and the rest of us dried and put them away. We are all really enjoying each other. The weather is beautiful, but cooler than we expected. I am so exhausted now--still on east coast time--so I will keep this short. But thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support. Although it has been sad to see the amount of homeless and rough spots, it is exciting to know that God is here and that He has given us the privilege of  shining His light all over this city.
